Create Your First Offer
Step-by-step guide to creating your first offer in *blinkpilot*
Congratulations on getting this far! Let's create your first offer.
What is an Offer?
An offer (or quote) is a formal proposal you send to customers. It includes:
- Services or products you're offering
- Pricing and quantities
- Validity period
- Your terms
Create an Offer
- Go to Offers in the sidebar
- Click Create Offer
Step 1: Basic Information
- Title - A descriptive name (e.g., "Garden Maintenance - Spring 2025")
- Type - Service, Goods, or both
- Valid Until - How long the offer is valid
- Segments - Estimated work segments (helps with scheduling later)
Step 2: Select Customer
- Choose Business or Private customer
- Select the company and/or contact
- The address will be pre-filled
Step 3: Add Line Items
Click Add Item for each product or service:

| Product | Select from your product catalog |
| Quantity | How many units |
| Unit Price | Price per unit |
| Discount | Optional percentage discount |
| VAT | Tax rate |
Step 4: Review & Save
- Check the totals (net, VAT, gross)
- Add any internal notes (only visible to your team)
- Click Create Offer
Send to Customer
After creating the offer:
- Open the offer details
- Click Send via Email
- The customer receives a professional email with PDF attachment
What Happens Next?
When a customer responds:
- Accepted - You can convert it to an order
- Refused - Record the reason for future reference
